Travel Training with a Tinsel Twist!

Each week, students from the Key class practise their travel training skills as part of the Preparing for Adulthood curriculum. This week, travel training took on a Christmas twist.  Students travelled by bus and then a train to Meadowhall. Whilst there, they practised using money, identifying directional signs and learnt how to stay safe in the shopping centre.

Of course, students took the opportunity to view the wonderful Christmas displays at Meadowhall and some even purchased a present for their Secret Santa!

There were more opportunities for the Key to use their money skills at The Bridge's Christmas Fayre on 5th December. Students held a stall selling Christmas cards and wreaths which they had made by themselves.

Well done everyone!
