Well done to Blue Class who represented Heatherwood in the Nexus MAT Sing and Sign Choir on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025. The event was held at Gulliver's Valley Resort in Rotherham, and Blue Class' performance was amazing.
As part of their Easter Enrichment Day on 17th April 2025, our pupils enjoyed an egg-cellent assembly! Thank you to our local Church Group who gave a cracking performance!
Our pupils also had fun with Easter crafts and participating in other themed activities.
Great fun was had by all at Heatherwood's Easter Holiday Club. Activities included Easter crafts, sports, dancing, cooking, swimming, gardening and lots of fun with our friends. Thank you to all the staff who gave their time to make the club a success.

"As we progress with the journey of decarbonising our estate, we are dedicated to incorporating efficient solar panel systems into roofing projects wherever possible. The solar panels at Heatherwood were installed by Bounty Energy Solutions and Technologies Ltd (BEST), who played a key role in enhancing the school's sustainability efforts.
"We are proud to have collaborated with Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) and our contractors at NRA Roofing & Flooring Services Ltd (NRA), whose expertise and dedication were crucial in delivering this important project.
"A huge thank you goes to Kerry Veall, our Strategic Projects Lead, and Lynsey Smith, Projects Officer, for their hard work and unwavering commitment to ensuring the success of this project. Their leadership and attention to detail were integral to its smooth execution."
Heatherwood hosted an Easter bingo fundraising extravaganza on Monday, 24th March. Lots of fun was had by all, and the Team raised £646.70 for school funds. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and to everyone who donated a prize. Your support is very much appreciated.
A massive thank you also to the volunteers who organised the event and made it a very successful evening.
To celebrate 40 years of Red Nose Day, Heatherwood travelled back to the 1980s. DJ John T ensured all the biggest songs from the '80s were played at our specially themed disco.

Everyone at school has enjoyed seeing the ducklings hatch and grow. On Friday, 21st March 2025, the Heatherwood community said "Goodbye" to the ducklings. They will now live on one of the farms owned by Incredible Eggs.
