Heather hatched at 7:40 this morning. Welcome to Heatherwood, Heather!
Cracks have started to appear. Will we meet our new Heatherwood friends tomorrow?
Our duck eggs have arrived. We are egg-cited for them to hatch!
Well done to our pupils who represented Heatherwood at the Nexus Primary Olympics on 25 June 2024 at Abbey School. You were all sporting superstars.
We’ve been lucky enough recently to upgrade our library in line with a biophilic approach after receiving some funding from a local business. We have added artificial grass and wall coverings to create a calming space for our young people to enjoy reading their favourite books. Our post 16 pupils have worked hard in their Enterprise sessions to upcycle some chairs and cable drums to make seating and tables for the library. They worked so hard and are so proud of their work!
During our science week this year we watched duck eggs hatch into these cute fluffy ducks.
