January 2021

This term we have been starting our topic of the Garden Centre, with a range of work with leaves, plants and growing things.  It has been a fantastic opportunity to blend our work between the students in Red and Yellow Class that are in school with those that are joining us for the Remote Learning sessions at home.  Here are some of the shots of work done at home that parents have shared on Seesaw. Some have even managed to make the snow into a sensory learning opportunity!  It is fantastic to see what they are getting up to.

December 2020

Yellow and Red Class have been getting ready for Christmas by making cards, calendars and lots of yummy treats. We have played in the snow, decorated the classroom and cant wait for Christmas day to come. On National Christmas jumper day we decorated a combined jumper with individual panels that we stuck together to make this huge jumper big enough for a giant! Merry Christmas and we will see you all in the New Year. Ho Ho Ho!

November 2020

Red Class have been enjoying the lovely autumn colours in the Wildlife Garden! We enjoy going out for a walk in the crisp November air!

Our book is Russell’s Christmas Magic, about Russell the Sheep when he helps Santa and his Reindeer.  We have our own dancing reindeer which makes us smile!  We also have a dog, Max that we love to press the switches to make him sit and walk!

Ollie really loves our music sessions and you can see how he loves to put his head against the drum skin to feel the vibration (the drum was playing quietly!).

October 2020

Red Class have had a fun October!  We have our own moves to the 'Time Warp' (which we practised daily! and we have done some wicked baking!  For our topic of 'Myself' we have enjoyed mirror work and working on our independence. You can see Yasmin turning the mirror wheel, and Praise working on her hand strength. We love Shabang and you can see Grace 'in the stars'!

September 2020

Red class have made a fun-packed start to September!  Although we are limited to our bubble, our classroom is our castle and we have done lots of activities, from creative, to mirror play (myself topic) to dancing and skittles!  Everyone has settled really well and we are enjoying every day.  The sensory garden has been turning towards autumn so we have been out in the sunshine too before the chilly winds start to blow!
