Doncaster in Bloom
In school this year we have been getting dirty and planting up some unusual containers as part of a interclass friendly competition. In addition to this, we also contacted DMBC and have entered some of our containers into the Doncaster in Bloom competition.
On Monday 19th July, Anita from the council came to visit and have a look at some of the wonderful displays of summer colour. She took photos of some of our containers and will enter them into the Borough wide competition. She was also very interested in our sensory garden and will be entering that into one of the other categories.
The winner of the Unusual Container category is done by the public but voting will not open till later in the year and will stop just before the awards ceremony towards Christmas. We will let you know when voting starts so you all can vote for your favourite Heatherwood Container!
