Children In Need 2020

Once again, the Heatherwood School community have joined forces to help raise funds for BBC's Children in Need. This year has been coordinated by our Student Council who organised activities for all, including a breakfast club, an assembly, quiz and a range of sensory activities in different classes. With the help of our young people and families we have raised in excess of £444. Here are a few photos showing some of the things that students got up to but we will post more when we get others from the different classes. 

Special thanks and congratulations goes out to Bronte in our sixth form who decided to embark on a sponsored bike ride at home.  She rode her exercise bike to an impressive £184 which was included in our grand total.  She has shown fantastic personal drive and kindness in this selfless act for others. Well done Bronte.
