During this month we have been having tons of fun in Green and Early Years. We have been discovering mini beast that live in the garden and dancing like a scarecrow...
We have also been developing our fine and gross motors skills.
During our online learning we have been keep fit with body awareness and eating healthy with fruit kebabs.
We have been busy getting ready for Christmas in Green Class. We have participated in lots of sing and sign sessions, craft activities and even planning a disco on the last day of term. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas from everyone in Green Class.
As part of our All About me topic we have been learning about self-help, we have been discovering ourselves and developing our skills. We have been doing lots of sensory exploration to find out what we like and how to terminate an activity we don’t like. We have had lots of fun playing with our friends and exploring switches, music, body awareness and Handipac sessions and our outdoor environment as the season changes. We cannot wait for December and the build up to Christmas.
Our second month in and what a great month it has been. We have been exploring Autumn and the changes that it brings including leaves and weather changes. Some activities that we have been doing range from pumpkin rolling, painting cabbages, leaves and pinecones and also listening to our personalised sensory stories. Also this month we got to play and learn on the magic carpet which all children thoroughly enjoyed.
Green have had a brilliant first half term back at school with many smiles and fun. They have been exploring all different aspects of the Harvest, working with flour, wheat, paint, vegetables, glue, baking bread and making sensory jars. Green Class also enjoyed our Roald Dahl Day this half term with sensory stories and making dream catchers which was fun.
