December 2020

As part of our Celebrations topic in December we have been looking at lots of aspects of Christmas. We began with decorating our classroom and making our Christmas concert song – ‘When Santa got stuck up the chimney’. We have also had Christmas Jumper Day, and have had fun making Christmas decorations, Christmas cards and placemats – so a fun and busy month. We have had lots of fun playing with our friends and making choices, exploring switches, music, sensory sessions and the outdoor environment. We’ve also had great fun getting messy as we have begun to start our winter activities, ready for the new year!

November 2020

As part of our Celebrations topic we have been in November looking at lots of celebrations. We began with Bonfire Night where we explored colours and watched fireworks; we then looked at Remembrance Day and made poppies for the sensory garden. After this we made colourful plates for Diwali before celebrating Children in Need Day; so we have been very busy this month! We have had lots of fun playing with our friends and making choices, exploring switches, music, sensory sessions and the outdoor environment. We’ve also had great fun getting messy as we have continued with our autumn activities.

We have had lots of fun playing with our friends and exploring switches, music, sensory sessions and the outdoor environment. We’ve also had great fun with our autumn activities; getting messy making hedgehogs and painting autumn leaves.
