A new way of teaching and learning
We have been very busy since our return to school after the Christmas holiday. Some of us have been back in school, working in our own class and others have been learning from home, accessing remote learning lessons via the app ‘Teams’. Have a look at the wonderful things we have produced, using our class book ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ as inspiration.
We have been very busy over the Christmas period, especially with decorating, singing and signing, making some amazing Xmas crafts and playing music! The Staff and Pupils from Blue Class would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy new year! God Bless everyone.
Work for Bonfire Night and Remembrance
November always sees lots of things to learn about! It can be very colourful in Blue class across this month with work based around Bonfire night and how we can keep safe. We have also been paying our respects to the very brave people that have kept and continue to keep our country safe, by making large red poppies for our Sensory Garden.
We've been busy over October in Blue class, really getting back into the swing of things back at school. We have been very creative over the month, creating lots of artistic work for the Autumn season and making lots of different treats to eat - excelling in practising physical and life skills.
It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome our children back to school after a very long, unprecedented time. We have been working very hard on wellbeing, happiness and re-establishing the fantastic relationships we have between each other. A particular area of enjoyment since we have returned to school has been the week we focused on the very famous children’s author – Roald Dahl. We all really enjoyed ‘The Twits’ story and made some fantastic crafts to go along with it:
